What a score is and is not

Our grade is a reading of your copy against a published, deterministic rubric. It is not a prediction of click-through rate, cost per acquisition or revenue, and no honest tool could give you one from copy alone — performance depends on the offer, the audience, the bid, the creative and the landing page.

Benchmarks

Where this site publishes benchmark figures, the page states what they were measured on, how many samples were used and when. A benchmark without those three things is decoration, and we would rather publish a narrower figure we can stand behind than a broad one we cannot.

Advertising policy and compliance

We do not check your copy against any advertising platform's policies or against advertising law in your jurisdiction. A high score is not an indication that an ad will be approved or that it is lawful. Those remain your responsibility.

How our content is made

Our scoring rubric is published in full rather than described as proprietary, because a score you cannot interrogate is not useful. Written guidance on the site is researched from published advertising research and platform documentation and drafted with the assistance of large language models, and reviewed by a person before deployment.
